Ryan Cameron
Ryan Cameron was born on November 29, 1965 in metro Atlanta, Cameron attended Campbell High School in Smyrna, played football, and became senior class president. He attended the University of West Georgia majoring in broadcasting and graduated in 1988. He began his radio career at WVEE in Atlanta in 1991. He left Atlanta, but returned in 1996 to do mornings at WHTA for nine years. In 2005, Cameron returned to WVEE to do afternoon drive, the position he presently holds. Cameron has also appeared on television, stage, and in movies. In addition to being nominated for an NAB Marconi award, Ryan has been honored by the city of Atlanta with two Phoenix Awards, and Ryan Cameron Day. He and his wife Kysha oversee the Ryan Cameron Foundation and the Ryan Cameron Leadership Academy whose mission is to guide Atlanta’s youth in their transition to adulthood with resources and programs designed to empower, inspire, and encourage positive growth.
The Georgia Radio Hall Of Fame is a Georgia non profit corporation and a 501 (c) (3) organization.
