Bill Edwards


  

While in college at Ole Miss, Bill Edwards worked at the campus radio station and various broadcast summer jobs. He began his professional career at a television station in Charleston, as a staff announcer and soon worked his way up to assistant sports director. He came to Savannah and was sports and news anchor on television there. He also worked as news director for several radio stations in Savannah including WSGA/WZAT and WAEV-FM. In 2000 Edwards became host of what is now AM Savannah on News Radio 1290 WTKS in February 2002.


The Georgia Radio Hall Of Fame is a Georgia non profit corporation and a  501 (c) (3) organization.
