Greg McClure
Greg McClure was born in Atlanta, served in the United States Coast Guard, and graduated from Southern Tech. While a student there he was co founder of campus station WSTB. He worked at WDGL in Douglasville as program/music director then General Manager. In 1977 he went to WFOM in Marietta as a jock, and then in 1977 was promoted to program director. In 1978 McClure was hired to program WWID fm in Gainesville. Greg then joined WYAY FM in Gainesville as an air talent. In 1994, he went to work for Cox Broadcasting in Atlanta and worked as an on air talent at WSB FM, in several capacities at WSB TV, before becoming a traffic reporter for WSB radio and Clear Channel. McClure and Sheila Benfield organized the WFOM Grand Reunion.
