In 1975 Paul became program director at WFOM in Marietta. In 1977 he went to WAPE in Jacksonville and became PD in 1978.  In 1981 Paul left Jacksonville for Kansas City where he programmed KFKF.  Two years later it was on to Minneapolis where he was Operations Manager of WLTE-FM.  In 1986 Paul was hired to be a part of the revival of the Big Ape on FM in Jacksonville.  He did mornings as Hoyle Dempsey for 17 years before moving back to Georgia, where he is currently in creative services for WRHQ in Savannah!
