Sarah Eberhard

 Media & Marketing Coordinator

Sarah’s radio career began at age 16 in her hometown of Athens as an intern in the programming department at WRFC.  This internship led to permanent employment with WRFC where she served as Music Director from 1981-1986.  During her years at WRFC Sarah attended the University of Georgia where she graduated from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcast Management.  She also worked for Atlanta’s WKLS/96Rock from 1988-1990 before returning to Athens in 1991 to assist with the launch of WPUP/Bulldog 103.7. Sarah made a career change in the mid-1990’s to follow an interest in the travel industry where she enjoyed a variety of international opportunities including a position as Marketing Representative with British Airways.  She has recently relocated to Athens where she is currently employed with the Clarke County School District as a Media Center Paraprofessional.  She continues to pursue an ongoing interest in Georgia radio history through research and collecting memorabilia for the purpose of preserving and documenting the rich heritage of radio broadcasting in Georgia.
